Nellis-Creech TBMCS-UL (soon to be UL/UC2)

Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) is an automated C2 system that provides Senior Leadership a composite picture of resources (sample fig.1), increased situational awareness (Fig. 2) during/after an incident (fire, explosion, etc) and an enhanced Web-based collaboration tool for chat, voice, video, etc. (Fig3).

TBMCS is the Air Force’ C2 System of Record currently in use both in-garrison and in the AOR. It also supports Air Force Incident Management System (AFIMS). The 99ABW has conducted several Exercises and Real World events using TBMCS and found it to be very efficient in managing incidents. Use of TBMCS was highlighted in a recent ORI report as having helped garner an “Outstanding” in the C2 category; the 99ABW received an overall “Excellent” for the inspection.

The vision for all other non-99ABW units is to comply with base-wide recall generation, receive ICCDs and gain near real-time situational awareness without ever picking up a phone. I am asking you to support this program by getting familiar with its capabilities. As the Nellis-Creech TBMCS Subject Matter Expert, my role is to ensure all units have sufficient #s trained and unit reps well versed in briefing readiness status to their respective commanders.
